MATERIAL: A286 Cres per AMS 5732 or AMS 5737, heat treated to develop properties commensurate with nut performance requirements herein.

FINISH: PHCR 54CS - Passivated per AMS 2700, type II or type Vlil, + solid film lubricant.

LUBRICATION: Solid film lubricant per MIL-PRF-46010, type I, or AS 5272, type I. Lubricant shall meet the requirements of BPS-N-70.

PERFORMANCE: BPS-N-70, class 125TC4, except tensile strength as tabulated and self-locking torque restricted to 5 reusability cycies on a cross drilled bolt or stud. Control method according to BACN11N.

THREADS: Per AS-8879, prior to lubrication.

MARKING: Parts marked with manufacturer's symbol «CS» for passivated plus solid film lubricant (ex:PHCR 54 CS-BACN).
