RLR Type lockrings have been inactive for new design since 1969 and are superseded by the improved "RLRR" type lockrings. "RLR" type lockrings will be provided for existing designs, however, it will normally be advantageous from a price and delivery standpoint to substitute the "RLRR" type lockring (ref. MS51990).

Superseded by RLRR24( )7 for new design and applications where it is agreeable by customer to increase counterbore diameter. RLR23( )7 will continue to be supplied for existing designs as required.
