Material and Heat Treat

1.Nut: 6AL-4V titanium per AMS 4928 or AMS 4967; heat treated per MIL-H-81200 to 95 ksi shear strength minimum. Maximum hydrogen content 125 ppm.
2.Screw: A286 per AMS 5731, AMS 5732 or AMS 5737; heat reated to 175 ksi tensile minimum.
3.Sleeve: 304 stainless steel per AMS 5639, heat treated as required for performance.
4.Insert: Acetal per ASTM D4181
5.DryvcapTM: Mild steel (color gray).

Finish

1.(-) Nut: KAL-GARD ANN-RO #1012 conversion coating or phosphate flouride per AMS 2488 may be used at manufacturer´s option.
2.Sleeve & screw: Passivate per AMS 2700, KAL-GARD ANN-RO #1013 conversion coating optional.
