MATERIAL:
  • Nut - A286 corrosion resistant steel per AMS5525, AMS5731 or AMS5734 (UNS S66286).
  • Basket - A286 corrosion resistant steel per AMS5525 (UNS S66286).
HEAT TREAT: After forming, precipitation heat treated to hardness not to exceed Rc 44 max.
FINISH:
  • Nut - Silver plate per AMS2411, on threads only. -3 size may have optional coverage on c'sink. -08 thru -5 sizes may have optional coverage in c'bore to .030 max. depth.
  • Basket - Passivate per AMS2700.
PERFORMANCE: AS4393, except axial tensile strength as tabulated.
FLOATABILITY: .030 minimum radially from centered position.
NOTES:
  1. Dimensions apply after plating.
  2. Unless otherwise specified, all surfaces 125 microinches.
