On the above-mentioned SIMLOC anchor nuts included in the range of diameters between 4 and 10 mm one can assemble a metal cap which protects the tip of the screw and everything around. Contact Howmet for the diameter/type in manufacturing.

Due to the addition of the metal cap, the transversal floating of the nuts is reduced to V = 0,45.
