  1. Adapters are primarily designed for use in 5080 PSI hydraulic working pressure systems (ref: EADS/Airbus spec ABS1376/SAE AS5000) compatible with titanium.
  2. These parts provide semi-permanent male adapter installations in valve and cylinder bodies, manifolds etc...
  3. Serrated lockring prevents rotation when mating lines are atiached or removed.

  1. Adapters to be installed and removed per HFS bulletin TSB01-0720 (SAE AS5551).
  2. "N" and "P" Stand-Off dimensions are for design purposes only. Do not use as installation data.
  3. O-rings must be specified separately and shall be selected based on system fluid and temperature and are not supplied by HFS.
  4. Coupling nuts used with this adapter must have threads in accordance with ISO 3161 or AS8879.
  5. Stand-off dimensions meet minimum requirements of EN6123 (SAE AS5827).

  1. Lockring retained on adapter by controlled interference fit.
  2. Sealing surface: no visible defects. To be protected for shipment. Take care in handling.
  3. Adapters are used in conjunction with an O-ring. O-ring size per AS568 (NAS1611).
  4. Identification: (EN2424, style P)
      a. Mark at location shown per AS478, method 2 or 15, manufacturer’s name, trademark or cage code.
      b. Bag and tag per AS478, method 35D and ABS1376. Manufacturer’s name, trademark or cage code, customer part number if applicable, HFS part number and lot number.
  5. All machined surfaces shall be smooth to 125 microinches Ra, serration 250 microinches Ra and sealing surfaces 63 microinches Ra per ASME B46.1.
  6. Fittings to be cleaned to meet the requirements of Airbus spec ABS1376 (ref: AS4059, class 7, Validation per Airbus A380 procedure).
  7. Protective individual packaging mandatory. Packaging and container per Airbus spec ABS1376.
  8. Procurement specification: ABS1376 (SAE AS5000) except as specified on this standard.
