RLR Type lockrings have been inactive for new design since 1969 and are superseded by the improved "RLRR" type lockrings. "RLR" type lockrings will be provided for existing designs, however, it will normally be advantageous from a price and delivery standpoint to substitute the "RLRR" type lockring (ref. MS51990).
