Broach Tool - Impact Type, PS10047 (MA2110-EN2602) Port Serrations

NOTES: Unless Otherwise Specified

• Replacement or spare cutters may be purchased individually.
• Noted runout and the controlled minor diameter of the PS10047 port will result in a permissible maximum runout of 0.23 between the serration major diameter and the controlled thread minor diameter after broaching.

APPLICATION: This broach tool is designed to produce serrations in the counterbore of PS10047 ports. The tool will broach into aluminum,magnesium and materials with a maximum hardness of 32 HRC.

METHOD:Insert the pilot into the tap drill hole of the port and apply sufficient force to the top of the mandrel to allow the cutter to broach the required serrations. When the external shoulder of the mandrel contracts the internal shoulder of the body, broaching is complete. If the cutter is stuck in the counterbore, turn the nut in a clockwise direction to extract the cutter.

CAUTION: The nut is for cutter extraction only and is not a stop, insure that the nut does not contract the tool body during broaching.
